Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going

Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
This space is for motivation, information and everything I love about health, fitness and anything in between... I’m a personal trainer who believes that you can design your body and be the person you want to be if you put your mind to it. Ability is what you're capable of doing. Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it.

My new Goal

I have been training on my own for a while now with no real particular goal set. The problem with not having a goal set in mind is that you tend to slip and give in to too many temptations. I would eat badly over the weekend and have the mentality that “I will just burn it off tomorrow”. I will eat so clean and healthy during the week whilst I am in good routine then waste my hard work by bingeing out over the weekend. There is a famous saying “start fresh on Monday” I have found that I keep “training to train” I now want to train for a purpose - for an end result.
When I realised I loved the gym and fitness so much my first goal was to do the personal training course and get qualified to learn how to do things properly. Now that I am qualified the next step would be to start my own business and share my knowledge with the world! but before I do go down that path  I have set  my next goal-  Last night I joined the team at MBS Richmond. I will be training there with Michael Tabban 4 days a week doing The SHAPE Program they have- it is a 4 day training program which breaks the body into different muscle groups and works on the principle of working a couple of those muscle groups in each session, therefore giving the entire body an intense workout over the 4 days.  Check it out at http://www.muscleandbodyshape.com.au
I have now set a goal to complete a 12-16 week body transformation and to compete on stage. I want to do this to show my future clients that it can be done, that normal sized 10-12 women can make a difference and “re-design” their bodies if they put their mind to it.
I believe that you should practice what you preach! I have trained with so many trainers that just take your money and give you quick sessions and be done with it, sometimes they are not even fit themselves. I will blog most of my progress including the diet, the weights and progress pics as I go. Those closest to me know how i love my food and that I have a massive sweet tooth. So if I can do this anyone will be able to... once I have completed this goal I will have the knowledge, the secrets and the tips on how to stay focused, how to learn self discipline how to stay motivated and i will be able to prove to my clients it can be done!...Stay tuned peeps and wish me luck!
